This video walks students through how to use Google Images to identify solid visuals (and what search words to use), how to make sure they are a quality images (pixels, watermarks), and what to look for in the image to make sure it stands out and is well understood.

Options for Visuals AIDS (WHEN PRESENTING ONLINE)

This video (set to music and text boxes on screen) shows students a variety of ways they can use visuals at home while presenting a speech remotely (printed visual, device/tablet, float onto screen with Adobe, or projector/TV).

Visual Aid Classroom Activity

Classroom Activity to prepare students to talk through their visuals

This set of slides (including directions on the first slide) allow students to practice using visuals in small groups before having to use that big scary overhead projector and screen in the classroom! Print off these images in color, along with the research cheat sheets supplied, and students will work in teams practicing the talking through of a visual aid!
